Rating by category:
Tiny rooms, cheap and uncomfortable beds. Had an unpleasant event with water pipe tremors and very loud furnace noise, but was moved to another room next day.
The room was really small, could barely move around in it with two people. The elevator was broken when we arrived. And the duvet didn't have a cover, just a top and bottom sheet. Not very hygienic...
small rooms. we hd no view
The staff, Peter and Robert are fantastic
Housekeeping knocking before 9am
Not at all friendly, very small room and not clean at all
Great staff, decent rooms.
credit card use was an issue. No fridgerator in room.
New York City is a very interesting city. I liked it so much and the best place to stay is near Soho, Chinatown and LitteItaly where we have the best places to shop and eat. So, The Solita Soho Hotel is definitively the place.
Great location and friendly staff. The beds and pillows are super comfortable which is important when NYC wears you out!
Needs a refridgerator.
The beds and the location was absolutely awesome!
One of the reception guy was pretty arrogant. The prices are very high for not even having regular coffee in the room or breakfast in the morning.
Good location Great shower Comfortable bed
Each day requested the complimentary water and the request was not accommodated. The room needs some TLC - carpet had a big run in it Some stains and the vanity in the bathroom had many cracks that had been repaired but it was still obvious No pictures on the walls No lobby
They didn't charge me for the days during which there was no electricity an no warm water because of hurricane Sandy. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Price Location Staff helpfulness
Subway noise No plug for basin
Reasonably good location in Chinatown. A short walk to a subway with many links. A short walk to Italian eating district. Lots of little market shops. Didn't feel unsafe.
No fridge, cramped room, no breakfast, no restaraunt, expensive.
Great position with easy access to Subway and good restaurants in China towns and Little Italy
Lots of road works going on the the area, this may be a temporary thing when we stayed
Good bed and bathroom. Pretty decent for a couple of young people. Next to various italian restaurants in Little Italy and near subway stations. If you want to shop there are many mainstream shops at broadway, just some blocks away...
